„It ain’t as bad as you think. It will look better in the morning!” Colin Powell
This is what my mother always says. But it’s not entirely true…there are mornings when things do look bad, when you are tired of fighting and trying to pretend everything it’s ok, because it’s not. They can tell you „everything it’s gonna be alright”, „you’re gonna be just fine”, „bad things will go away”, „you just have to be patient”, but deep down you know it’s not true. It’s not because you’ve lost hope, but because you are tired of waiting. It’s not fair for the ones who did everything to have a good education or to become someone on their own, it’s not fair for the ones whose parents don’t have money, whose parents don’t afford to buy them expensive cars or expensive gifts, or send them in vacation wherever they want. There are people who fight so hard, every single day, to survive and maybe, if they are lucky enough, they will fulfill their dreams. What happened with justice, what happened with „we are all equal in God’s eyes”? Is it fair?! I don’t think so….Life is not fair…. But remember that in the end, when all this is gone, it doesn’t matter how rich you are, how many friends you have or how many things you own. When you go to sleep at night, you are all alone…you are left utterly and infinitely alone.
So, next time when you think you are better than someone just because you have money, think again! Take a minute and think about it….
